About The Artist...

I truly love hearing this one particular little childhood memory my mom shares with me, which really brings inspiration, and has great significance in how I started drawing. Hope you enjoy!

I came across an old drawing of mine that my mom saved. I asked her about it, and she said it was a drawing that I had made when I was the age of two. I was like WOW! One, it meant so much that she saved it, but looking at, for a child to draw a "Jack-in-the-Box," and actually look like one, It's not too shabby. Lol.   She mentioned, during that particular time there had been a very bad snow storm, and she doesn't believe we had a T.V. back then, so what my mom did was look out the window and see the people walking in the snow, so she would draw them and whatever she saw from the window, which she also saved. She believes I followed her lead, so I really have to thank my Mom, not for just the passion of drawing, but her love, and strength, and for many of the joys we share.
